Colorado Demolition FAQ
Yes. For demolition, Colorado requires a certified asbestos inspection and a state-issued demolition permit before work begins, and local building departments may require their own permits. (Regulation 8, Part B, CDPHE.)
Yes. Colorado requires an inspection by a certified asbestos building inspector prior to demolition, regardless of the building’s age. It’s the only way to confirm whether materials contain asbestos.
Selective demolition is removing specific parts of a structure — walls, finishes, systems, or structural elements — while protecting everything that stays. It’s standard for renovations, tenant improvements, and historic work.
Regular (total) demolition takes down an entire structure. Selective demolition surgically removes only what the scope requires, with containment and protection for the rest of the building.
Dust containment uses barriers and negative-air systems to keep demolition debris and dust from spreading. It protects other trades, finished areas, and air quality — and keeps the project on schedule.

It means we build dust containment before we start, clean daily, and hand you back the site cleaner than we found it. Your other trades stay on schedule. No callbacks from other subs about dust or debris.
What’s your guarantee?
If we don’t deliver clean, safe, controlled demolition — you don’t pay for that portion. If we break something, we fix it. No arguments, no excuses. That’s the standard we hold ourselves to on every job.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. We’re fully licensed and insured. If something goes wrong on our watch, the liability stays on us — not you. That’s non-negotiable.
